This is small town diner at it's best. Local friendly and accommodating staff. My friend asked for an open faced burger topped with a load of chili, shredded cheese and onions. He was served the order as requested with a smile. The clam chowder was good and generous with clams. I ordered a blast from my past, fried mush (crusty on the outside with soft corn meal center) with butter and syrup. The pies are the cherry on top. Homemade and delicious. The diner was busy with local and touristy patrons. The smiling staff a mix of capped Mennonites and t-shirted youth. A great local experience.

The roast beef was excellent. My husband said it is like they removed all the fat before serving it, and the portion was huge. Chicken strips, onion rings and pizza were very good too. Not greasy at all. Yummy pies. Reasonable prices.
